God’s mercy is not a reward we earn; it is a gift He pours out on the undeserving. Every one of us enters this room as a debtor to grace, and mercy is the very heart of the gospel.

How do we receive mercy? We come honestly. We stop hiding and bring our brokenness to the throne of grace. In Christ, mercy is not withheld from anyone who genuinely seeks it.

Why does mercy matter? Because it shapes how we treat one another. A people who have been forgiven become a forgiving people. When we grasp the depth of the mercy shown to us, we extend it to others.

Application: Identify one relationship this week where you can extend the mercy you have received. Let gratitude, not guilt, lead you.
