A Portrait of Grace

Opening

Grace is more than a warm feeling—it is the unearned favor of God that changes everything. Before we do anything for God, His grace has already moved toward us.

The Portrait: Grace is painted most clearly at the cross. There we see the cost of our sin and the length of God’s love. What we could not do for ourselves, God did for us.

Grace grows deeper through surrender. We do not earn more grace by trying harder; we position our hearts to receive it by trusting more. Grace and faith are inseparable companions.

Application: This week, rest in the finished work of Christ rather than striving for approval. Receive grace, and let it shape how you give grace to others.
